![]() I want my device set up so that if I put in an appointment at 1pm it stays at 1pm even when I change time zones. The Time Zone Support feature is very unintuitive. It's driving me mad, just can't seem to fix it. Outlook is set to GMT, adjusting for daylight saving time. Both devices are set to London time zone both in the general setting and the calendar setting. The iPhone, by contrast, shows the right time even when the ipad has messed up Outlook. But it only seems to be recurring appointments which are affected and only those where they start now and run on after the change to GMT in late October. Sync the same appointment with the iPhone and it displays at the correct time. It doesn't seem to make any difference whether I have Time Zone Support checked or unchecked. a 2.30 appointment becomes 1.30) in both Outlook and the iPad. ![]() The basic problem seems to be that if I set an appointment up on the pc, when I sync it to the iPad it gets shifted by one hour backwards (i.e. ![]() The problem seems to occur just with recurring appointments which cross the daylight saving time boundary, with the iPhone and the iPad treating the appointments differently. I'm having great fun trying to get my iPhone, my iPad and my pc to play nicely.
